This activity of helping the poor and students was sponsored by the District Political Consultative Conference, District Education Bureau, and District Charity Association, and raised more than 2 million yuan in total. The recipients are all prospective college students who are about to enter university campuses. More than 200 students with special difficulties will receive a subsidy of 6000 yuan/year for two consecutive years. Other students in difficulties will receive a subsidy of 4000 yuan/year and 2000 yuan/year.
